+ HOW TO GET TO GOLFITO, COSTA RICA FROM SAN JOSE

Guests are responsible for their transportation to and from Golfito.

By plane:

From the Domestic Terminal adjacent to San Jose Airport (SJO), take a Sansa Air flight to Golfito Airport. This 45 min flight will cost approximately $150. A brief taxi ride from the airport into town will cost you approximately $5 USD. Ask the driver to drop off at the Muellecito (little dock).

By Bus:

Go to the Tracopa Bus terminal in San Jose (we suggest Uber or local taxi $15-$35) and take either the 6:30am, 7am or 3:30pm bus to Golfito. This 7 hour bus ride will cost approximately $18 USD. The bus will drop you off in downtown Golfito. Continue walking until reaching the Muellecito and Tourist Information Center.

By Van:

If participants coordinate amongst themselves to arrive at similar times into SJO then a shuttle van can be coordinated to bring you all down together. This ride will take approximately 5 hours depending on how many sightseeing stops are made. This option has a total cost of $400 and a maximum capacity of 9 people.
